The Meltwater mailing list of Design Museum’s Media Register
The purpose of handling personal data:
The register is used for providing information for the media by the party maintaining the Meltwater service. The media are informed of news, exhibitions and events related to the museum.
Content of the register:
Design Museum has added the main media and stakeholder associates to the Media Register. The register contains related contact information of the persons concerned, i.e. surname, first names and email address.
Regular sources of information:
Information supplied by representatives of the media or stakeholder groups by separate request via email or with a calling card.
Regular disclosure of information:
The Design Museum Foundation does not disclose information in the register to third parties.
Disclosure of information outside the EU or EEA
Information contained in the register is not disclosed outside the EU or the European Economic Area.
Principle of register protection:
Any list of contact information that has been compiled manually is disposed of by placing it in a locked waste paper collection container after the data has been transferred to an electronic database.
Right to inspect data
Everyone concerned has the right to inspect information recorded in the register of persons. Requests for information are to be addressed to the Design Museum Foundation.
Right to demand correction of data
Everyone concerned has the right to demand the correction of information. Requests for corrections are to be addressed to the contact person of the Design Museum Foundation.
Other rights concerning the handling of personal data
The contents of the register are kept in a password-protected database and the customer register and the equipment of the data system for handling it are in locked computer rooms. The system is protected with a firewall. Access to the customer register is permitted for only those employees of the Design Museum Foundation for whose work access is necessary. The customer register is protected with personal passwords.
