As part of the D-Ark Lab project, our museum is organizing a campaign to document good neighbourhoods. Constant change is an inescapable part of our daily reality. Big cities are growing larger and denser, while rural communities are facing population exodus. Change is a force that sweeps away many things in its path – including architectural settings of irreplaceable value.
Help our museum document places that you cherish in your neighbourhood. Take a picture of a place or space that is important to you. Log in to our museum’s Photo Vault, upload your photo, and share your thoughts on why this particular place is precious to you. You can view our other visitors’ input on this screen.
The Photo Vault is the Museum of Finnish Architecture’s and the Design Museum’s online service, through which you can donate digital photos to the museums. You can also share information and memories related to the photos. Some or all of the content uploaded to the service may be accessioned to the museums’ collections.
