Opening the Archives

Every Thursday at 5 pm (in Finnish)

An episode of the Opening the Archives series will be published every Thursday at 5 p.m. (EET) In this series, we will explore the archives behind the exhibition, hosted by museum guides Pinja Nousiainen and Jaakko Simola who have studied the archives extensively. You can submit comments or questions about the archives and museum work during these episodes. We will learn about the Open Archives through three themes: Gunnel Nyman’s lamp designs, Materiality of the archives and Nyman’s glass objects. Each theme will be explored during four consecutive Thursdays. Nousiainen and Simola will also invite expert guests to discuss the contents of the archives.
