The summer’s design workshops for families explore colours and create colour journals telling about their own home town. Take a journey into colours in the footsteps of Danish designer Margrethe Odgaard.

Things are happening in the joint courtyard of the Museum of Finnish Architecture and Design Museum. The workshops in the courtyard invite visitors of all ages to work together with textiles and wood.

Hammer and nails – Build a Fantasy Dwelling from Wood
Build a wooden nest, dwelling, hut, lair…. whatever comes to mind. This workshop is for making dwellings of fantasy, for elves and sprites, hattifatteners or cuddly toys. The workshop is for visitors for all ages who can hold a hammer in their hands, but using the hammer requires the presence of a parent or guardian.
