We are currently building the exhibitions of Maija Lavonen and Marie José van Hee in January.
During the exhibition changeover, construction sounds may occasionally be heard in our premises.
During this period, we offer discounted ticket prices:
D-House (Design Museum): €10
Free admission to A-House (Architecture Museum).
31.1.–6.2. When Maija Lavonen’s exhibition opens in D-House, the ticket price will be €20, while admission to A-House remains free.
Visitors under 18 and museum cardholders always enjoy free admission to the museum.
During the construction period, our familiar collection exhibitions are on display in both houses. In addition, the D-House hosts the D-Ark Lab exhibition.
Tip: While waiting for the opening of Maija Lavonen’s retrospective and the exhibition of the Alvar Aalto Medal winner, join our popular Architecture Speaks online lecture series.
This season’s theme is Architecture and Activism. The lectures are open and free for everyone (registration required).

Taito Café in the museum is closed until 30.1. and will warmly welcome all visitors and local customers back on 31.1., when Maija Lavonen’s exhibition opens.
The Design Museum shop and the A-House museum shop are open as usual during the museum’s opening hours.
