Accessibility
The Architecture and Design Museum consists of two buildings: the Building A and the Building D. The Building A, formerly the Museum of Finnish Architecture, is located on Kasarmikatu, and the Building D, formerly the Design Museum, is on Korkeavuorenkatu.
The most accessible entrances are in the museumâs courtyard. The address is Ullanlinnankatu 4, 00130 Helsinki. The entrance to the Building D from Ullanlinnankatu is wheelchair accessible.
The museum courtyard has one parking space available for visitors. This parking space is recommended, for example, for visitors using wheelchairs. A parking permit can be obtained from the customer service desk for the duration of the visit.
The Building D has an accessible elevator. A wheelchair-accessible restroom is located on floor 0. There is no induction loop in the Building D.

Principles For a Safer Space
We at the Architecture & Designmuseum want to offer everyone a good museum experience and the chance to participate as themselves. We do not accept discrimination or harassment. We encourage people to learn and ask questions and to assume diversity as a starting point. We want to be a place where it is easy to come and everyone feels good. Our staff is there for you. Please notify us if you encounter inappropriate behaviour or want to give us other feedback. Together we can make the Architecture & Designmuseum a safer and more comfortable space for everyone.
